Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

During the month of October, we are challenging our Sunday School classes to bring in 500 items to fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We're encouraging children to bring in small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other items like mints, gum, t-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, etc.

Please don't include used or damaged items, war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures. Chocolate or food, or out-of-date candy. Liquids, lotions, medications or vitamins are also prohibited. Also, no breakable items such as snowglobes or glass containers and please, no aerosol cans.

The boxes will be assembled by Pastor Jamie and Sunday School Coordinator Amanda Whitson prior to the national collection week, November 16-23. Please help us reach our goal of 500 items for kids who wouldn’t receive anything for Christmas!
